    Global Education Conference

    About us

The Washington Diplomat is hosting an all-day Global Diplomatic Education Conference to convene embassy representatives, the private sector, universities and other educational institutions to discuss the latest developments in education and, specifically, the issues that are critical to foreign students coming to the United States and their foreign governments, which have a vested interest in finding top educational opportunities for their nationals. Among the myriad topics we will examine are future education trends, including the skills needed to adapt to a 21st-century world, as well as other pertinent political developments affecting the field.

The Washington Diplomat is an independent monthly publication and media company with a readership of more than 200,000. The Diplomat has served as the flagship newspaper of the diplomatic and international community in Washington D.C. and New York for the past 25 years and it is the only publication distributed to all 185 foreign embassies in the nation’s capital.

Distribution is also sent to the United Nations in New York, World Bank, the White House, Congress, Pentagon, State Department, World Bank/IMF, IDB, PAHO, Fortune 500 companies, federal agencies, think tanks and various points of influence in Washington, Virginia, Maryland and New York. The Washington Diplomat works very closely with embassies and foreign governments as a convener of dozens of conferences and roundtable discussions focused on international affairs, U.S. foreign policy, trade and investment, health care, tourism and more. Moreover, we host several public diplomacy networking programs throughout the year and an annual White Correspondents’ Association Dinner Pre-Party.
